My name is Glen P. Scott I’m a full-time operating musician here on Grand Cayman, presently performing at various hotels, retaurants and private venues on the island. I’m frequently booked by Sound Solutions to perform as a guitar soloist or in a duo ensemble manner. I’m originally from Jamaica migrated to the U.S. at the age of 11 and moved to Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands the origins of my grandfather to live with my father at age 16. 

I started professionally here as a musician in Grand Cayman at age 36 playing with Gary Ebanks’ Intransit – “Jazz Fusion ensemble;” which was made possible by one of my Cayman guitar mentors Mr. Mitchell Ebanks. This led into playing with various other outfits which were instrumental in rounding out my overall musical stylings. 

Recently in the past couple years my passion has been my solo guitar endevours which I dub as: “Eclectic soulful, acoustic fusion;” which really incorporates all my past experiences of music with an positive and open view to expansion. My solo and duo presentation is an amalgamation of various styles of music steming from genres such as Classical, Jazz/Bossa/Latin, Carribean to Pop/Reggae and anything in-between. I have the wonderful option and privilege to work with Mr. Humberto Scanio on Trumpet or Mr. Sean Hennings on Drums/Percussions. Our main goal and objective is to suit the audience and venue we are playing to and hopefully leave them with a joyous smile.
