Welsh musician Owen moved to the island in 2017 originally to teach music, but has since found himself an in demand live performer alongside his busy teaching schedule.

Be it serenading the bride and groom down the aisle with his romantic violin performances at weddings, or performing for a cocktail hour, entertaining guests at many of the island hotels and restaurants, or a regular host at open mic, where he can be found singing and playing his guitar,  he has a wide range of songs to suit any event or occasion.

Professional and approachable he enjoys regular sets as a solo artist, or as one half of island duo Hennessy and Hughes, where he can be found playing violin plenty of acoustic classics and traditional irish tunes

Owen has been proud to work with sound solutions soon after he moved to island, originally performing in a three piece with director Derrick McKay, before sound solutions undertook booking nearly all of Owens events.

Owen also plays Violin together with Dave Hennessy in a duo Hennessy & Hughes.
